In Leisure, Net Zero

We are delighted to announce that DPP has secured planning permission for a £22m sustainable hotel project at Exeter Science Park. Designed by ECE Westwork for Zeal Hotels, this hotel will have 142 bedrooms and target BREEAM Outstanding certification while achieving net zero carbon.

Collaborating closely with East Devon District Council planning and design officers, we are proud to drive sustainable development in the region.

Zeal Hotels have partnered with IHG for what is being referred to as IHG Hotels and Resorts first lifecycle net zero carbon hotel.

We are thrilled to see planning permission granted for this transformative sustainable hotel project. It is a testament to Zeal Hotel’s commitment to sustainable development and collaboration with East Devon District Council and Exeter Science Park

says Tom Molyneux-Wright, Principal Planner at DPP.
