Vimto Gardens is the first phase of development within the Salford Central masterplan.  A street block fronting Chapel Street (A6) the building comprises a mix of 77 apartments over 6 floors with commercial space below and 14 townhouses to the rear.  A neighbourhood convenience store is included in the scheme.

DPP provided planning and heritage consultancy services to bring forward reserved matters approval under the wider masterplan secured for English Cities Fund in 2010.  DPP led a review and audit of the Environmental Impact Assessment; provided Planning Statement and Heritage Statement and support to Design and Access Statement.

DPP secured reserved matters approval and led discharge of pre-commencement conditions, and in parallel secured permission for a revised highway alignment and led public consultation.
