DPP, on behalf of Caddick Land, sought to promote the site known as land off Main Street in Stanton under Bardon in response to the Hinckley and Bosworth Draft Local Plan 2020-2039 Regulation 19 consultation.

The representations to the Draft Local Plan 2020-2039 comprised of an assessment of the subject site in relation to its availability, suitability and deliverability, whilst also commenting on the Draft Local Plan 2020-2039 in relation to the stated housing requirement and distribution of development. The submission was also accompanied by a masterplan which demonstrated how the site would be developed.

Prior to the outcome of the Regulation 19 consultation, an outline planning application was subsequently submitted to the Council setting out why development is suitable and how it can contribute towards the shortfall in housing land supply.
