We are delighted to announce a series of promotions as part of our commitment to supporting the career development of our team, as well as a change at Director level to drive people development.

Jen Patterson, who is based in the Newcastle office, has been promoted to Director.  Since joining DPP in 2017, Jen has become a key figure in the North East property industry as well as helping DPP become established in the healthcare sector, and was named the Royal Town Planning Institute North East Chair last year.

Also in the Newcastle office, DPP has promoted Lee Fulcher to Principal Planner. After a stint of work experience at the company in 2017, he joined on a permanent basis the following year and progressed to Senior Planner in 2021. He has played a pivotal role in growing DPP’s traditional residential sector activity as well as contributing to projects in the education sector.

DPP’s second promotion to Principal Planner is Will Marshall in the Leeds office.  He joined the company as a Senior Planner in 2021, attracting new clients from South Yorkshire and has been instrumental in a number of residential, energy and education projects across the UK.

Tom Quille, who is based in the Cardiff office, who has been promoted to Senior Planner has also been involved in DPP’s work in the expansion of the UK’s EV charging infrastructure, managing a charging hub development programme for an international client. In addition, he has been instrumental in a range of residential and education projects.

DPP has also made three promotions to the position of Planner.  Abi Tucker, who is based in Leeds and Cet Roberts from the Cardiff office, have both progressed through DPP’s graduate programme, while Eleanor Robinson, who is based in the Newcastle office, originally joined the company on work experience in 2022.

In addition to these promotions, DPP has also made a change at director level, with Faith Folley taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Having spent the past two years driving operational change within the business with a distinct focus on people development, including DPP’s well-being programme, Faith will take on a greater oversight of all operational matters, which will include staff training, career development and ensuring operational efficiency and statutory compliance.

Jen Patterson, Director of DPP Planning, said:

I am incredibly proud to become a Director of DPP and play a greater role in the future success of the company and the clients we support.  Across the UK we are securing an increasing range of prestigious projects, which reflect our reputation and track record, which is testament to the hard work and talent of the people we have here.

Gareth Hooper, CEO of DPP, said:

We are very proud of the progress Jen, Lee, Will, Tom, Abi, Cet and Eleanor have made, and they are rightly rewarded. These promotions reflect DPP’s dedication to recognising and nurturing talent, ensuring a robust succession plan, and fostering a supportive culture of excellence.  They also represent the contribution colleagues make to the company, often beyond the projects they work on, which is outstanding.
