On behalf of Persimmon Homes (Yorkshire) and JG Hatcliffe Property and Planning, DPP are pleased to have gained full planning consent for the erection of 193 dwellings together with associated open space, landscaping and infrastructure following demolition of existing agricultural buildings on land off Holme Road in Market Weighton.
The land forms a key part of the housing allocation MW-B, and the granting of this permission will now allow the rest of the allocation to be brought forward. Working closely with East Riding of Yorkshire Council, DPP have held detailed discussions on matters such as open space and access, successfully negotiated on housing mix and provided planning services for the relocation of the existing pig business to an alternative site in Market Weighton which had been a constraint in delivering this site for a number of years.
Mark Lane, Director of DPP, says:
We are delighted to secure this permission for Persimmon Homes (Yorkshire) and JG Hatcliffe Property and Planning which will unlock the rest of the MW-B allocation and contribute towards meeting housing need in the East Riding.
