DPP are delighted to have secured reserved matters approval for a 22 storey residential tower as the latest phase of the Salford Central Masterplan, on behalf of English Cities Fund

DPP coordinated and submitted the planning application for the 22 storey tower working closely with the LPA, English Cities Fund and the appointed design team led by the award-winning architectural practice Hawkins\Brown.

The residential tower will comprise 196 one to three bedroom units with associated amenity space. The sitting and orientation of the block responds to the complex geometry of the site while maximising views of the River Irwell, future Factory Theatre and City beyond, with river-facing ground floor residential amenity space, and private residential balconies on the river facing façade. The delivery of this site will also see the completion of the landscaping scheme for Zone C of the Salford Central Masterplan area, delivering a complete and coherent publicly accessible riverside terrace along the northern bank of River Irwell.

Kayleigh Dixon Associate Director at DPP said:

We are delighted to have achieved the unanimous vote for approval of this planning application by members of planning committee and to have achieved consent for English Cities Fund within a tight programme. Plot C2 is the final piece of the Masterplan ‘Zone C’ jigsaw and it will be a fantastic addition to the adjoining Novella scheme as well as the neighbouring Slate Yard development.
