Working on behalf of PAG Ventures Ltd, a joint venture between Property Alliance Group and Primus Property Group, DPP secured full planning permission for a 121 bedroom luxury student accommodation scheme in Chester, due to open in Autumn 2016.

The scheme includes the demolition and redevelopment of a former bakery on the edge of Chester City Centre which had been vacant since 2010 and will help to meet a growing demand for such accommodation in the city, particularly from postgraduate and international students studying at the University of Chester.

DPP provided a full range of planning services on the project having prepared a supporting Planning Statement and then, liaising with the project team, submitted and negotiated the planning application through to determination which included negotiations on financial contributions requested as part of a section 106 agreement.
