Last month, DPP hosted our annual company get together in Dublin

Each year, we gather our team together to celebrate successes, discuss and share views on the evolution of the business and to have some fun. This year, we also took time to celebrate the career of DPP Director, Bob Robinson, who retires this month after nearly 40 years at the company – more on this to follow.

The two days together provided an opportunity for staff from our five offices to meet in person in vibrant Dublin. A combination of company overviews, awards and spotlighting of successes was rounded off with a tour of the Guinness Storehouse followed by a stunning meal, laughter and dancing. A team-building treasure hunt around the city presented a fun but competitive session to finish.

Speaking about the  successful few days, DPP Chief Operating Officer, Faith Folley said:

The event was a fantastic opportunity for our team to come together, connect and have some fun! Our people are at the heart of DPP, without them, we would not succeed in what we do, so seeking their views on how we grow together is a key part of our evolution. This year was particularly special as it provided an opportunity to celebrate the success of Bob, whose influence has shaped us to be the company that we are today.

Speaking about the event Bob Robinson, retiring DPP Director said:

I really enjoyed the company event this year in Dublin. From a business perspective it was great to launch the new initiatives that will drive DPP’s growth over the next 5 years and bring us closer together as a business. From my perspective it was also quite emotional being my last such event before retirement and I really appreciated the effort that went into the ‘Bob’s Retirement’ side of the event and the lovely gifts. I will leave with very happy memories of the past 37 years and knowing that DPP is in strong hands for the future
