Healthcare Management Trust have very recently opened their £25m hospital on the prestigious SA1 Swansea Waterfront regeneration area. The development offers facilities including an MRI scanner and digital X-ray machine, 12 en-suite patient bedrooms, three surgical theatres and a day surgery unit.

DPP were brought on board to provide strategic planning advice on issues surrounding the ability for the Hospital to gain access to the site due to a complicated land ownership issues. DPP negotiated with the Client team and the Local Planning Authority to secure amendments to the approved scheme to allow the necessary access for the proposal whilst the land transfer details were being resolved.

DPP also provided support in discharging conditions and advising on potential non-material amendment submissions.
