DPP assisted in the preparation of two planning applications at Maiden Castle Sports Centre to improve the University’s sports facilities.  Phase 1: upgraded and reconfigured sports pitches and Phase 2: for the extension and refurbishment of the existing sports centre, a cricket centre, two beach volleyball courts and ancillary changing pavilion.

The site is an area of high landscape value in flood zone 3 and the Green Belt and is also close to two conservation areas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

Approval was given for the site in Feb 2018 and DPP continue to provide aftercare work such as the discharge of planning conditions, advice regarding amendments and advert consent.
