We were instructed to assist Leeds University in the preparation of a planning application for a new 5/6 storey teaching block as part of their Business School (LUBS) expansion.  The new building will provide essential teaching space to accommodate the growth of the Business School including lecture, seminar, flat floor and specialist teaching space.

DPP attended pre-application meetings with the Council to ensure a close working relationship and to achieve a design that the Council planning officers could support prior to submission.

We also arranged and attended a consultation event for the local community and project managed the planning submission, whilst monitoring the application through to a positive determination within 13 weeks.
