DPP engaged with Durham County Council through the planning application determination and as part of this, the development went through an iterative design process. This led to a unanimous approval of the scheme at Planning Committee.

Kayleigh Dixon, Director at DPP said

We had to navigate several challenging site constraints to achieve a positive recommendation for this scheme, working closely with the LPA, consultees and the design team.  We are really pleased to have obtained a unanimous approval for much needed affordable homes on what will be a gateway site into the town
