National planning consultancy DPP has appointed a new Planner, Tom Wright, based in their Cardiff office and a new Assistant Planner, Patrick Mottershead, based in Manchester.
Tom joins from Bristol-based planning firm Origin3 where he’s worked for the last 3 years. Tom studied Geography and Planning at the University of West England, where he then went on to do a Masters in Planning. Having extensive residential experience, he will be assisting with several schemes the Cardiff office are working on including a major residential-led regeneration project in Poole, a strategic housing site in Cardiff as well as a new Maths & Computer Sciences building for Cardiff University.
On his move to Cardiff and DPP Tom Wright said:

Patrick Mottershead joins DPP Manchester from Bedford based planning firm Aragon, where he’s worked for the past 18 months following a degree in Human Geography & Planning at Leeds Beckett University. Patrick will be assisting the team on a number of exciting projects including a new garden village/urban extension project and a major mixed-use regeneration project in Bolton.
