Replacement Private Dwelling
DPP were appointed to provide planning advice for a replacement dwelling in Wylam which lies within designated Green Belt land. The client had previously gained permission for a replacement dwelling but during the process had reduced the size of the property due to negotiations with the local planning authority, however, the dwelling approved did not meet their requirements. DPP were brought on board and submitted a pre-application enquiry and subsequent application to secure permission for the dwelling which had originally been proposed.
DPP successfully gained planning permission for a replacement dwelling with a 45% increase from the existing dwelling, providing a family home to meet the needs of the client. In the first instance, DPP submitted a pre-application enquiry to the local planning authority, followed by a full application for the replacement dwelling. DPP then managed the application through to decision stage.
