In Manchester, Mixed-Use Regeneration, Permission secured, Residential

Salford Central’s Masterplan regeneration has recently had a further 211 apartments approved in the scheme’s tallest tower to date. The 23-storey tower and podium form the first phase of Zone C development which will transform this waterside location by the River Irwell.

DPP’s Manchester office continue to lead planning submissions for £650m Salford Central Masterplan, and provided documentation to support the application, including an Environmental Statement Review. The team guided the proposal through the planning process, negotiating with consultees and the local authority to obtain approval following presentation to Planning Committee.

Speaking about the scheme, Richard Purser, Associate Director at DPP said;

The Salford Central Masterplan continues to take shape with ongoing construction at 6 development plots, adding to the 9 plots already constructed and operating successfully. It’s fantastic to be involved in such an exciting scheme, which has transformed this formerly left-behind part of Salford into one of the most attractive new city centre neighbourhoods for residents and businesses.
