In Manchester, Permission secured

On behalf of English Cities Fund, DPP  (a partnership of Muse, Legal & General and HCA) DPP has secured approval for the next phase of the Salford Central Masterplan.

The successful application is for an 11-storey, 90-apartment building along the River Irwell in the city centre which will form the first of a series of residential apartment blocks in the mixed-use leisure, residential and commercial core of the masterplan..  A mix of two and three bedroom apartments will be developed as a part of a PRS scheme which sits alongside landscaping with new step access to the river.

DPP has strong knowledge of the 17-hectare Salford Central regeneration scheme, having been English Cities Fund’s planning advisors for 10 years. This is now the sixth major plot to come forward for development from the masterplan approved in 2010, which will see the formation of the new city location of New Bailey and transformation of Chapel Street.
