In Newcastle

DPP’s Newcastle office has worked on some of the highest profile projects in the North East in 2018, with a total value of over £450M.

The team has continued to deliver significant projects for Durham University, including securing consent for the £40M Mathematical Sciences and Computer Science building.

Quayside West, the £250million urban village (pictured above) on the edge of Newcastle’s city centre was submitted earlier this year, and if approved (in 2019), this transformational project will have a hugely positive impact on the region both in terms of employment and regeneration.

Work has continued on Milburngate with consent now given for a new hotel and new office building, bringing the vision for the redevelopment of Durham’s historic city centre a step closer.  2019 promises to be an even busier year for the team as further high profile schemes will be submitted.
