Welcome to the public consultation website for a proposed development comprising a two form entry primary school to be called Tudor Grange Primary Academy, at Meon Vale.
We will shortly be submitting a planning application to Stratford upon Avon District Council for this scheme, and we are providing you with the opportunity to view and comment on the scheme in advance of this submission. We are submitting this application on behalf of Bowmer + Kirkland who are developing the scheme on behalf of the Department for Education.
We would ordinarily hold a public consultation event but in light of continuing Government advice regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic we are instead proceeding with this online consultation process to ensure that you still have the opportunity to comment. As such, we ask for you to provide your views and comments on the proposals by email and/or telephone. The consultation flyer and boards are available to view and download below.
Bowmer + Kirkland are working with the Department for Education to develop proposed plans for Tudor Grange Academy (Meon Vale Primary School) which is a complementary and contemporary two form entry school that has been designed with excellence and local people in mind. The vision for Meon Vale is to create an outstanding education facility for pupils aged 3-11 in Warwickshire. The new 420 place primary school will include 60 Reception Places and 360 KS1/ KS2 Places, plus an additional 30 place nursery.
The proposed school will supplement the current and future development within the local area, as the current vacant site that was previously used as a caravan pitching site is within close proximity to the existing Meon Vale Leisure Centre and the new private residential development. One of the core values that underpin the strategic vision for the Tudor Grange Multi Academy Trust (MAT) is the aim to become one of the top 3 performing MAT’s in the country, with their model based upon Tudor Grange Academy in Solihull.
