DPP’s Leeds office has secured planning permission on three sites for their client Mulgrave Properties. The first, an approval for a new development Barley Folde in Pocklington, will deliver 40 new homes to the historic market town. This was shortly followed by permission for 10 new farmstead houses in Killinghall, and 9 dwellings in Marton cum Grafton, both near Harrogate. Each site had to overcome a range of significant issues, ranging from a population of Great Crested Newts which had to be rehomed from their existing pond to drainage and design issues, and invasive New Zealand Pygmyweed, as well as significant opposition from both Historic England and residents.
Speaking about the approvals, Ian Hessay Managing Director at Mulgrave Properties said;
DPP, have secured planning on several sites for Mulgrave Properties. Their extensive planning expertise, and professional service, in dealing with the issues of complex sites works hand in hand with Mulgrave Properties philosophy of providing original and high-quality residential developments
