In Education, London, Permission secured

DPP’s London office is delighted to announce they have successfully secured planning permission and Listed Building Consent for the refurbishment of Grade II Listed Georgian Mansion at the site of the former King Fahad Academy and permission for the redevelopment of the site for Ealing Fields High School.

Working on behalf of Bowmer & Kirkland, the proposals include demolition of existing 19th and 20th Century buildings, along with the refurbishment of the central Grade II Listed Georgian Mansion known as Place House, and development of a new main school building and sports block. When complete, the scheme will provide a permanent home for Ealing Fields High School who are currently operating within the temporary accommodation.

Speaking about the scheme, Tim Spencer, Associate Director at DPP said;

We’re delighted to have secured a unanimous decision at Ealing Council’s Planning Committee for our client Bowmer & Kirkland. It’s a testament to the London team’s hard work and dedication, that we were commended for the positive and productive manner in which we engaged with stakeholders and the residents association.  Securing permission on such a complex site is a great achievement, and will bring back to life an 18th Century Grade II listed mansion and create an impressive home for Ealing Fields High School.
