In Education, Leeds, Permission secured

DPP Leeds have recently secured planning permission for a new dining hall and kitchen at Hove Park School, Brighton on behalf of Eco Modular Buildings and the Department for Education.

The school forms part of the Modular C Priority Schools Building Programme (PSBP) 2 and successfully completes this Batch of 4 replacement school blocks which were awarded to Eco towards the end of 2018.

The other projects include the provision of new teaching accommodation at Steyning Grammar School in West Sussex and Attleborough Academy and Downham Market Academy in Norfolk. The proposed buildings are all of modular, off-site construction and will provide improved teaching and welfare facilities for over 5,000 children when completed. Permission on all 4 schemes was delivered under delegated powers and with limited or no pre-commencement conditions.

We are delighted to continue to work alongside Eco Modular in delivering a number of high-quality school projects as the Department for Education focuses on modular construction as a way to address the need for new and improved schools.
