DPP has secured planning permission for a 121 bedroom luxury student accommodation scheme in Chester.
The development is to be delivered by PAG Ventures Ltd, a joint venture between Property Alliance Group and Primus Property Group, and was granted planning permission by Cheshire West and Chester’s Planning Committe folowing a recommendation to approve the application by Council officers.
The development will see the redevelopment of a former bakery on the edge of Chester City Centre which has been vacant since 2010. The luxury accommodation will provide 121 studio bedrooms helping to meet a growing demand for such accommodation in the city; particularly from postgraduate and international students studying at the University of Chester.
The student accommodation is due to open in Autumn 2016.
