On behalf of English Cities Fund, DPP has submitted plans for the next phase of its regeneration of Salford Central. The application is for an 11-storey, 90 apartment building along the River Irwell in the city centre.
As a Private Rented Sector scheme, it is intended the building will form the first of a series of residential apartment blocks in the mixed-use leisure, residential and commercial core of the masterplan.
DPP has strong knowledge of the Salford Central regeneration scheme, having been English Cities Fund’s planning advisors for 10 years. This is now the sixth major plot to come forward for development from the masterplan approved in 2010.
