DPP Newcastle has secured planning permission in the centre of Newcastle for the use of Metrovick House as residential use to be used as student studio accommodation.
The scheme will provide a total of 63 units, along with supporting ancillary facilities and will see the reuse of a vacant building in a sustainable location. This will help meet growing demand for student accommodation in the City.
“DPP negotiated a way forward on planning under tight timescales, overcoming hurdles and potential issues throughout the process comfortably. We are extremely pleased with the result and look forward to working again with DPP in the future.”
