Acting on behalf of Guinevere Holdings, DPP have secured planning permission for the Spectrum office scheme in Port Talbot.
The 52,000 sq ft scheme split over three buildings, provides 27 units ranging from 1,250 sq ft to 3,000 sq ft. The scheme is suitable for offices, research and development, high-tech and light industry and is Port Talbot’s first speculative office scheme for over a decade. Located directly adjacent to the recently expanded Port Talbot Station, the aim of the proposals is to bring established businesses to the area and encourage a new generation of start-ups in an area characterised by increasing unemployment due to continued industrial decline
In order to benefit from European funding, DPP need to secure consent for the BREEAM Excellent scheme within twelve weeks of the submission being made. The consent was issued within eleven weeks under delegated powers ensuring delivery of the project.
