In Cardiff

Before we announce some early achievements for 2019, here’s a quick review of 2018 for our team in Cardiff, which saw them deliver their most diverse range of schemes to date…

Forming part of Cardiff University’s Master Plan, work was progressed on the Sir David Adjaye designed, Maths and Computer Sciences building and their Talybont Student Residences. Work also began on some of the first Band B Schools in Wales, building on the numerous schools’ projects delivered by DPP across the UK.
In the residential sector, work is also going on for strategic housing sites in Cardiff and Bristol as well as urban residential schemes in Poole, Cardiff, Birmingham and Falmouth. The team also worked on schemes for over 1,750 student beds in 2018 and have secured consents for 19 storey and 24 storey schemes.
In the commercial sector, the team delivered numerous consents for national and regional retail developers as well as for operators Lidl, B&M and Domino’s Pizza.
In June, the team’s efforts were reflected in being shortlisted for the Consultancy of the Year Award at the Wales Insider Awards.
