Grange Farm Estate Regeneration, South Harrow

DPP were appointed to secure full planning permission for the comprehensive redevelopment of the Grange Farm Estate in Harrow. The existing 282 dwellings spread across a number of buildings are to be demolished and replaced with 549 dwellings along with a new community centre, and extensive landscaping areas.

DPP undertook extensive pre-application discussions with the London Borough of Harrow, the Greater London Authority and assisted in a number of public consultation events and exhibitions.

DPP project managed that submission of a hybrid planning application for the phased project, with the first phase of 211 units (93 affordable housing and 118 private units) and the community centre being submitted in detail and the second phase of 338 units (144 Affordable Rent dwellings and 194 Private Sale) submitted in outline.

Successfully aiding in reaching a suitable development form which was well supported by the majority of residents and stakeholders.

Securing in-principle support for the application via a number of pre-application meetings with LB Harrow and the GLA.

Collaborative working with and project management of multi-disciplinary professional team leading to the collation of documents in support of the planning application.
