In Cardiff, Mixed-Use Regeneration, New Project

DPP’s Cardiff office has submitted plans for one of the most important regeneration sites in Poole on behalf

of client Reuben and Morgan. The £130m scheme, located at West Quay Road, is the third submitted by DPP in Poole in the last

3 years and follows a previous high-profile refusal in 2011 by others, which left the site largely derelict. Seen as one of the ‘final pieces of the

jigsaw’ in the regeneration of the waterfront, the plans include 562 apartments split across eleven buildings, a new quayside walk, units for

cafes and restaurants, and a replacement facility for Poole Amateur Rowing Club.

Having secured consent last year for the tallest residential scheme in Poole, at St John’s House, and the

recent submission for Kingland House, we are delighted to be acting on another significant project in the

town. The proposals will bring back into beneficial use, a key site in the regeneration of Poole’s

waterfront and will create a vibrant place that benefits the whole of Poole.
